St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital is a 202-bed, faith-based, voluntary, continuing care facility operating within Alberta Health Services as part of a larger group of service providers under the name of Covenant Health. We provide programs and services to people of all faiths, cultures, ages, abilities, and interests. 2012 marks the eighty-fifth anniversary of our service here in Edmonton, Alberta.

St. Joseph's is 15,000 square metres, occupying three levels. Our glass atrium ceiling and spacious environment contributes substantially to the overall beauty of the building. Located in the Ermineskin/Heritage neighbourhood, we back onto Heritage Park and have easy access to shopping, services, and recreation facilities.

As a faith-based organization, St. Joseph's recognizes and supports the unique and valuable attributes, input, and needs of all who come in contact with the organization; that is, clients and their families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. The gifts that persons of all ages and capabilities bring to each situation are valued. People are encouraged and supported to maximize their potential, be it in relation to health, or their role within the hospital. Continual learning through experience, education, research, and/or partnerships is highly valued, promoted, and shared.
